Luis' Tips for Plum Smoky Eyes

Luis' Tips for Plum Smoky Eyes

  1. Apply Mary Kay® Eye Primer to the eye areas.
  2. Using your fingertips or the Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush,* apply Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color in Violet Storm starting in the inner corners of the eyes and working outward and upward to the brows. Next apply Mary Kay® Mineral Eye Color in Truffle in the creases and blend it outward and upward as well. With the Mary Kay® Eye Smudger Brush, layer Truffle mineral eye color along the lower lashlines, blending out. Apply Mary Kay® Eyeliner in Black to the upper and lower lashlines, carrying the lines just a little bit up and past the eyes.
  3. Finish with Mary Kay® Lash Love® Lengthening™ Mascara.
Quote:“There is one question I always get asked:What is your favorite makeup look? To me, it’s the smoky eye. It’s always my favorite look, and it works on everyone. The best way to achieve this look is to layer the eye colors little by little. You don’t have to put on too much at the very beginning. I like to start with a cream eye color as a base and then add a powder on top to get wonderful depth for that smoky eye look.”

*For hygienic reasons, it is recommended to dedicate one brush for use with cream eye color and one brush for use with concealer.
