SHAPING

Step 1

Hold a pencil upright along the side of the nose. The brow should begin at the line where the pencil intersects the inner corner of the eye.

Step 2

Next, angle the pencil from the tip of the nose to the middle of the iris. The brow should arch highest at the point where the pencil crosses the brow.

Step 3

Finally, angle the pencil so it touches the outer edge of the nostril and intersects with the outer corner of the eye. This is where the eyebrow should end.

DEFINING

Step 1

Start by using the spooley brush from the Mary Kay® Brow Tools to remove any excess foundation or powder from your brows and to brush them neatly in place.

Step 2

To apply the brow pencil, make short, light strokes with the pencil from the beginning of the brow to the arch. For a softer look, apply the multibenefit mineral eye color as a brow powder. Use your angled brush from the Mary Kay® Brow Tools to gently apply color and enhance brows.

Step 3

Use longer, feather-like strokes to finish the ends.

Step 4

Finish by brushing on Mary Kay® Brow Gel to lock in color and keep groomed brows in place, giving brows a fuller, thicker appearance.

Application Tips

  • Begin by using the spooley brush to comb your brows into a desired shape.
  • Use the tweezers to remove unwanted hairs from the brow area, being careful not to over tweeze.
  • Then, use the angled brush to apply Mary Kay® Mineral Eye Color that can double as a brow powder or use a Mary Kay® Brow Definer Pencil to add color to your brows. Use a shade close to your current hair color.
  • Next, use the spooley brush to remove any excess powder and reshape the brow.
  • Finish by applying Mary Kay® Brow Gel to lock in color and hold the brows in place.

How It Works

Prior to tweezing, make sure skin is clean. Tweeze in the direction of hair growth to avoid breakage. Tweeze from below the brow to create a clean shape, following the brow’s natural arch. Use the point to tweeze smaller hairs and the slanted side for general tweezing. Tweeze slowly and carefully, checking brow shape.
