  • Remove the lid and lightly dip your Mineral Foundation Brush into the powder, and tap against the rim of the jar to remove any excess. You do not need to use all the powder that is in the sifter – a little goes a long way.
  • Swirl the Mineral Foundation Brush inside the lid so that the powder is worked into the bristles.
  • To apply, start in the center of the face and work your way out on either side toward the hairline and along the jawline, blending it well. For a light, natural coverage, a single, thin layer should be enough. For increased coverage, repeat the application process applying the Mineral Powder Foundation in thin layers until you reach your desired coverage level.
  • It is best to clean the Mineral Foundation Brush weekly to avoid product and bacteria buildup. To clean, wet the hair. Squirt a mild cleanser in your palm and sweep bristles back and forth and in a circular motion.
  • Rinse well. Squeeze out excess water with a towel; reshape bristles with fingers and lay the Mineral Foundation Brush with hairs extending out over a ledge to dry. Never dry the Mineral Foundation Brush upright, as water can seep in and weaken the handle.
  • Keep your Mineral Foundation Brush looking nice by storing it in a case when not in use.

Application Tips

  • Gently shake the Mary Kay® Mineral Powder Foundation jar (with the lid on) to dispense the foundation.
  • Remove the lid and lightly dip the Mary Kay® Mineral Foundation Brush into the foundation.
  • Tap the brush against the rim of the jar to remove the excess foundation.
  • Then, swirl the brush inside the lid to work the powder foundation into the bristles. Apply the foundation first to the center of your face and work your way out toward the hairline and jawline, blending well.
