I encourage women to be confident with color because color can change our mood. On a gloomy day, a bright red lip can make you feel beautiful.
Gregg Brockington, New York, N.Y.
What this New York native didn’t learn while studying fashion design and color theory at Parsons School of Design, Gregg learned in his early training in Milano, Italy. Since then, he’s made his mark working with fashion design greats with his artistry seen on runways around the world. In addition to making celebrity starlets gorgeous and sharing his creativity in magazines such as Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire, Gregg also gives generously of his time and talents to several international philanthropies, helping women feel beautiful inside and out. That spirit of giving and his wide-ranging experience make Gregg a natural fit with the Mary Kay Global Makeup Artist Team.
This signature look is based on one of my favorites, a 1920s Bohemian style that is adaptable to many skin tones. I love when a woman can create a look in a few simple steps to achieve maximum impact. This look also can become simpler by making it monochromatic, creating depth and curve on the eye, or it can be totally glamorous by using darker shades. It allows women to decide who they would like to be on any given day!
