What I love about Mary Kay® color is that it’s right on-trend, it’s on fashion, and it’s actually wearable.
Luis Casco, Los Angeles, Calif.
Surrounded by the exotic beauty of his homeland, El Salvador, Luis has always had a great appreciation for what is beautiful. His early training in Paris uncovered a true calling as a professional makeup artist where he began a now-thriving career as a makeup artist. He has worked for celebrities, fashion designers, editorial publications such as Elle, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar and more. Luis is no stranger to Mary Kay and will continue to help develop color products as well as share his knowledge about color cosmetics to women everywhere in the Mary Kay Global Makeup Artist Team.
As has been said so many times, “the eyes are the windows to the soul,” and I believe in making them stand out! The eyes are the first thing we usually notice on a person, and they are my favorite thing to highlight and concentrate on. This look capitalizes on the different levels of “smokiness” one can achieve so that any woman can wear it. I’m excited to show women how to get this look!
Apply Black eyeliner close to the upper and lower lashlines. Extend eyeliner onto lid and blend it out using the Eye Color Brush.
Pat Black Pearl mineral eye color all over the lid and up to the crease, and brush it on under the lower lashes. Then apply White Lily mineral eye color under brows as a highlight.
Apply two coats of Lash Love™ Waterproof Mascara in I ♥ Black.
Contour the face with Sandstone mineral bronzing powder, then sweep Strawberry Cream mineral cheek color onto the apples of the cheeks and blend.
Apply Whisper creme lipstick with the fingers to stain lips. Apply Cream and Sugar lip gloss.
