You can soften the "edges" of this shape by contouring the outer areas and highlighting the center of the face. Here's how:
After applying foundation, dot with Mary Kay® Facial Highlighting Pen on the middle of the forehead and chin, and blend highlight down the center of the nose to bring focus away from the outer edges of the face. Blend well with your ring finger by lightly patting the edges. To lift shadowy areas of the face, including shadows caused by undereye puffiness, apply the pen just below the puffy areas to "lift" them and make them appear more flat.
Using the Compact Powder Brush, contour the sides of the forehead above the temples and on the sides of the jaw with Mary Kay® Mineral Bronzing Powder to help give edges a receded appearance.
Apply Mary Kay® Mineral Cheek Color, using the Compact Cheek Brush, to the apples of the cheeks to keep the attention on the center of the face.
TIP – For a standard application, apply Mary Kay® Mineral Cheek Color using the Compact Cheek Brush to the apples of the cheeks. Blend upward along the cheekbones toward the hairline. Stop at the tops of the cheekbones, just below the temples.
