A Letter To Seminar 2017

08-11-2017

Dear Seminar 2017,

As the Corporate Communications intern this summer, I can say you were the favorite part of my internship and an experience I will always remember.

From seeing the Dallas skyline painted pink, to dancing at WFAA News 8 Daybreak’s Party on the Plaza with independent sales force members at 4:45 a.m., these past few weeks have been nothing short of amazing.

I was lucky enough to see the launch of a beauty industry first, the Timewise® Vitamin C Activating Squares™. The excitement from the independent sales force that filled the room was contagious.

And lastly, Seminar 2017, the best thing I witnessed was the amount of joy and hope you bring to the independent sales force. I asked sales force members about what drives them in their entrepreneurial careers, and answers ranged from things as broad as their family or financial freedom, to as specific as being able to pay for an adoption or their commitment to ending the epidemic of domestic violence.

I met entrepreneurs from all over the world who have incredible stories to tell about how Mary Kay has changed their lives.

So Seminar 2017, I think it’s safe to say you were a success. Thanks for giving me a new perspective, for being a source of enthusiasm for the beautiful independent sales force, and for giving us a reason to all come together and celebrate each other.

See you next year!
