Richard co-founded Mary Kay, Inc. in September 1963 with his mother, Mary Kay Ash. He served as the Company’s General Manager until 1965 when he was named Vice President. In 1968, he was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer, and in November 1987, Richard was named Chairman of the Board.

In 1992, Richard became Chairman of the Board of Mary Kay Holding Corporation, the parent of the Mary Kay Inc. operating company. He returned as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mary Kay Inc. in 2001. In April 2006, Richard assumed the title of Executive Chairman.

Richard has distinguished himself as an innovative marketer and financier. In 1968, Richard took the Company public on the O.T.C. market and subsequently listed the Company on the New York Stock Exchange in 1976. In 1985, Richard led a group in the much-publicized leveraged buyout of Mary Kay Cosmetics, Inc., and returned the Company to a privately held, family-owned business.

Richard Rogers is a native Texan. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and attended North Texas State University. Richard has three grown children and is married to Nancy Rogers, who is an internationally recognized philanthropist.

As Chief Executive Officer for Mary Kay Inc., an iconic beauty brand with a 60-year history and operations in more than 35 markets around the world, Ryan Rogers oversees all operational and fiscal initiatives for the multi-billion-dollar company. He helms the #1 Direct Selling brand of Skin Care and Color Cosmetics in the world[1] with more than 1,600 product patents, over 800 products in its global portfolio, thousands of Mary Kay Inc. employees, and millions of independent sales force members worldwide. He casts the company’s global strategic vision and works closely with C-Suite Executives to foster product innovation, business excellence, and revenue growth.

In his previous role as Chief Investment Officer for Mary Kay Inc., Ryan was responsible for strategic direction, financial analysis, and resource allocation on key investments across various Mary Kay departments and Mary Kay’s international subsidiaries. He developed new investment strategies and policies, personally oversaw the investment process, and made decisions on asset allocation and risk management across portfolios. He is a member of the beauty company’s board of directors and the grandson of Mary Kay Inc. founder, Mary Kay Ash, one of America’s greatest entrepreneurs.

Ryan joined Mary Kay Inc. in 2000 as a Financial Analyst and held several positions including Project Manager, Director of Strategic Initiatives, and Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. In 2013, he assumed the title of Chief Investment Officer.

Since 2001, Ryan has served as Vice President of the Mary Kay Ash Foundation. The Foundation was created in 1996 by his grandmother, and its two-fold mission includes funding women’s cancer research and ending domestic violence. Since 1996, the Mary Kay Ash Foundation has contributed more than $96 million to women’s shelters and domestic violence service providers, as well as cancer research programs and related causes throughout the United States and globally.

Prior to joining Mary Kay Inc. - a global advocate for women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship and one of the largest direct sellers of skin care and color cosmetics in the world - Ryan was an associate in the Transaction Services Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Dallas.

Ryan and his wife, Maleiah, live in Dallas with their daughter, Everlee.

Building on her previous role as Chief Marketing Officer, Sheryl leads the Global Brand Experience team that creates marketing campaigns, social media content, and digital tools enabling the Independent Sales Force to provide customized recommendations and unparalleled service to their customers. Sheryl’s team also supports Mary Kay’s award-winning product portfolio by developing product positioning, packaging, and education resources.

As a member of Mary Kay’s Executive Committee, Sheryl works across corporate functions to understand and optimize every element of the Mary Kay customer journey. By leveraging global best practices and research insights, Sheryl and her team help develop innovative digital solutions that help make the Mary Kay entrepreneurship opportunity easy and rewarding. She amplifies the voice of the customer throughout the organization and facilitates collaborations that result in superior customer experiences. By combining research, data analytics, and trend forecasts, Sheryl and her team anticipate the needs of Independent Beauty Consultants and their customers around the world.

Sheryl brings significant experience in strategic planning, business development, and corporate partnerships to her role. Prior to joining Mary Kay, Sheryl held executive positions with Alberto-Culver, Cadbury-Schweppes, Citigroup, and Kraft Foods. She received a Bachelor of Science in retailing, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin and holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Sheryl is a member of various civic and professional organizations including the International Women’s Forum and the Executive Leadership Council.  Closely aligning with Mary Kay’s mission of enriching the lives of women and their families, she is actively involved in the community through The Mary Kay Ash Foundation℠ whose mission is two-fold: finding cures for cancers affecting women and eliminating violence against women.

K.K. Chua serves as the President of the Asia Pacific Region. As regional president, K.K.’s responsibilities include all areas of the Company that directly support the success of our subsidiaries and independent sales force members in our Asia Pacific markets, which include Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines and Taiwan, and Singapore.

K.K. joined Mary Kay in 1995 as President of Mary Kay China and, in 1998, was appointed President of the Asia Pacific Region. K.K. was instrumental in building the foundation for Mary Kay China to grow and helped grow the Asia Pacific Region to become Mary Kay’s largest international region in 2008.

Prior to Mary Kay, K.K. held senior executive positions in the media and film industries in Asia for Hollywood Studio and has had extensive prior working experience throughout Asia and in Europe. He helped spearhead the opening of Korea, Indonesia and China to Paramount, Universal and MGM’s products.

K.K. graduated in Business Studies from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore as the most outstanding student in his faculty and attended the Executive Development Program at Cornell University. While residing in Sydney, K.K. was a member of the Council of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia.

As Region President for Mary Kay Europe, Tara currently oversees 19 markets: Armenia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

After joining Mary Kay in 1993, Tara became a key member of the start-up team for Mary Kay  Russia and was instrumental in growing it into one of Mary Kay's top seven largest markets around the globe. Tara is passionate about helping girls and women realize their dreams and achieve financial independence. As Mary Kay Russia grew, Tara knew early on that she had to help give women in the neighboring former Soviet Union countries an opportunity to provide for their families and grow their entrepreneurial skills. She took on the additional challenge of expanding Mary Kay operations into other European countries to empower women.

She personally led the start-up teams for Mary Kay Ukraine, Mary Kay Kazakhstan, and Mary Kay Poland, all of which have become flourishing markets. In 2002, Tara was promoted to Mary Kay President, Europe Region, taking on the management of additional countries and subsequently opening new markets. Under Tara’s visionary leadership, the Mary Kay® brand has become a leading cosmetics brand and one of the most respected women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship companies in the European Region.

Tara was born and raised in the U.S.A. She moved to Russia as a young adult as she yearned to make a difference in the lives of girls and women in developing countries. Tara cherishes the opportunities she has had in her Mary Kay career which have allowed her to meet women across Europe and the former Soviet Union where she found a common thread uniting women in wanting a stable life of opportunity and certainty for themselves and their families full of opportunity and certainty.

DEBORAH GIBBINS

As Mary Kay’s Chief Financial Officer, Deborah oversees strategy development and financial growth of Mary Kay across the globe. She is responsible for corporate strategy, financial planning, reporting, treasury, tax, internal audit and public affairs functions.

Prior to joining Mary Kay in 2013, Deborah held senior leadership roles within the finance function of PepsiCo’s Frito Lay North America division, including Senior Vice President, Revenue Management and Senior Vice President, Controller. Before her PepsiCo career, Deborah was a senior manager at Arthur Andersen LLP in Dallas.

Deborah is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and accounting from Southern Methodist University. She was named a Cox School of Business “Distinguished Alumni” in 2014. An active community volunteer, she currently serves on the board of directors for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and the Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas Foundation.

MELINDA FOSTER SELLERS

Melinda Foster Sellers serves as Mary Kay’s Chief People Officer. Melinda is responsible for all Human Resources, Marketing, Facilities and Security initiatives around the world. She has been a member of Mary Kay’s Executive Team since 2006.

Melinda has been instrumental in leading a shift toward global support for Mary Kay’s operations. She has been responsible for implementing global systems and processes that are providing more efficient, consistent and strategic support for the business worldwide. Programs have a goal of uniting every employee towards supporting the mission of the company and have everyone – employees, independent sales force and consumers - say they “love their Mary Kay”.

Melinda joined Mary Kay Inc. in 1993. Over the years, she has held various positions in Human Resources. She has also been a member of Mary Kay’s Culture Committee since its inception in 1998. The committee is dedicated to preserving the culture and values that were established by Mary Kay Ash. In support of our culture, Mary Kay’s global mentoring program also contributes to the strength of Mary Kay’s workforce, with a growing number of mentees and mentors from markets around the world participating each year.

Prior to joining Mary Kay, Melinda worked for Mark IV Industries and DSC Communications. Melinda earned undergraduate degrees in psychology and biology from Drury University and her graduate degree in industrial relations from Iowa State University.

Kregg Jodie serves as Mary Kay’s Chief Information Officer. Kregg is responsible for setting the strategic direction of technology, implementing new systems, managing and monitoring existing systems and all telecommunications throughout Mary Kay Inc. on a global basis.

Kregg has led Mary Kay’s strategic efforts of leveraging technology to better serve customers and to improve the opportunity for the independent sales force. Kregg has been instrumental in launching Mary Kay InTouch®, an online web portal, and Personal Web Sites that have reshaped the way the independent sales force members do business. Additionally, Kregg has led efforts to develop and implement common core systems and processes that create operational efficiencies and improved selling opportunities in over 35 markets globally.

Kregg joined Mary Kay Inc. in October 1993 as Manager of Sales Force Automation and held various other positions before being named CIO in 1997. Kregg has been a member of the Executive Team and has coordinated Mary Kay’s overall business strategy since 1998.

Prior to Mary Kay Inc., Kregg was employed by Accenture, providing management expertise for companies such as CompUSA, Sears Logistics Services, Hertz Corporation, a major express carrier, Department of Veteran Affairs, Manville Sales Corporation, Federal Aviation Administration and American Federal Bank. Kregg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in electrical engineering route to business from the University of Texas at Austin.

NATHAN MOORE

Nathan Moore serves as President, North America Region. Nathan joined Mary Kay Inc. in 1995 as a Staff Attorney and has held several leadership positions in the Company’s legal department. Nathan was a founding member of the Mary Kay Culture Committee in 1998. The committee is dedicated to preserving the culture and values that were established by Mary Kay Ash. Nathan has a passion for the Mary Kay opportunity and the direct selling industry, having served as Chairman of the Direct Selling Educational Foundation and the Direct Selling Association.

Nathan earned a B.B.A. (Finance) with honors from Texas A&M University and a law degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.

Ryan Rogers joined Mary Kay Inc. in January 2000 as a Financial Analyst. In December 2001, he was named Project Manager, and in January 2005, he became Director of Strategic Initiatives.

In May 2007, Ryan was named Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Chief Investment Officer in June 2013. Prior to joining Mary Kay Inc., he was an associate in the Transaction Services Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Dallas.

In his current position, Ryan is responsible for strategic direction, financial analysis and resource allocation decisions on key investments being considered across various Mary Kay departments and at Mary Kay international subsidiaries. He also is a member of the Mary Kay Inc. Board of Directors. Since 2001 Ryan also has served as Vice President of The Mary Kay FoundationSM. The Foundation was formed by his Grandmother in 1996 to fund research on cancers affecting women. In 2000, the Foundation’s mission was expanded to include the elimination of domestic violence. The Foundation issues millions of dollars in grants each year.

Ryan graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University in 1998, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and was named Standard Bearer for the Cox School of Business – graduating with the highest grade point average in his class. In August 2002, Ryan earned the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation from the CFA Institute.

Julia A. Simon serves as Mary Kay’s Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary and oversees the company’s Legal, Risk Management, Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility functions. In addition, she serves as the Senior Privacy Officer for the company. Her teams protect the company’s reputation and operations in more than 35 markets around the globe. 

Julia has held many roles since she joined the Mary Kay Legal Department in 2000. She worked to protect the company when challenged with litigation and she helped to create the company’s Global Data Privacy Compliance Program. She has proudly served as a mentor to Mary Kay employees and is deeply committed to developing strong talent. Julia is incredibly honored that she had the opportunity to meet and talk with Mary Kay Ash personally during her prior employment with the company in 1995-96 and continues to be inspired by Mary Kay’s legacy and the company’s mission to enrich women’s lives. She believes it is the role of the Legal Division to help clear the path so that millions of Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants around the globe have an opportunity to pursue success in their businesses.

JOSE SMEKE

PRESIDENT, LATIN AMERICAN REGION

Jose (Pepe) Smeke serves as the President of the Latin American Region. Pepe joined Mary Kay Mexico in March 1994 and worked in the sales development group as a manager. In January 1997, he became the sales group manager and quickly achieved success as sales director and general manager. In July 1999, Pepe was promoted to president of Mexico. In December 2000, Pepe was promoted to President, Mexico and Latin American Region. In his role, Pepe oversees operations for the entire Latin American Region, which includes Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Uruguay.
