Skin regenerates by shedding dead skin cells to make room for fresh ones. But not all dead skin cells always shed completely on their own.
When they don’t, exfoliation is critical so that dead skin cells are completely removed. An exfoliating booster like this one helps speed up that process of skin renewal
Squeeze 6 to 8 drops into your hands, and smooth the product over your face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Usage may vary depending on personal preference. Do this morning and evening after both cleansing and toning your skin. Follow up with your serum, moisturizer and SPF (if applying in the morning).
It is not recommended to use on the same day as Retinol 0.3, as this Resurfacer product contains a high concentration of alpha-hydroxy acids that is intended to be used as a leave-on application. This high concentration of alpha-hydroxy acids in a leave-on application in conjunction with leave-on Clinical Solutions Retinol 0.3 may lead to increased irritation. If you are new to Retinol 0.3 or Resurfacer, do not introduce both products at the same time. The recommendation is to use Retinol 0.3 nightly for several weeks before you add Resurfacer to your skin care regimen. You should also avoid using other exfoliating products on the same day including TimeWise Repair® Revealing Radiance® Facial Peel, TimeWise® Microdermabrasion Refine and Clear Proof® Deep-Cleansing Charcoal Mask. It is also recommended that you avoid Clear Proof® products containing salicylic acid while using this booster.
