My demanding CIO career (13K staff) was stressful. I started Mary Kay for products and a creative outlet. After suffering four strokes and end-stage kidney disease in 2025, my Mary Kay "sisters" supported me. I was surprised by the flexibility; I successfully picked up my business after long inactivity. I'm profoundly grateful for this "God First" opportunity and life. Sending notes/stickers to customers makes me feel needed and helpful, proving I can still make a difference despite limitations.
